We mentioned last week that we were going to give specifications for the puzzle.
The first step to it is to agree on a unified message that will be written on the puzzle. >< We figured that if we have a unified message first, then our design can reflect the message that all of us have agreed on. ^^
From today (6/10/07) until Wednesday (6/13/07), we'll be accepting any ideas / suggestions to be included in the finalized message. That is what theme(s) should we have for our unified message? For example, gratitude, how much we love them, a concert here, etc.
After we've received suggestions, we'll combine them to come up with our unified message. Due to space restrictions for the design of our jigsaw puzzle, we'd like to keep our message to one sentence. Of course, we'll try our best to include everyone's suggestions.

Hi, this is Ryter (Liz). Hum...
some thoughts:
-It'd be cool if the message could be something like (as the title of project is), "Arashi Around America". Or, even though it's corny, "Arashi, America Loves You"? haha, lol. I dunno.
-As for the jigsaw puzzle, it'd be cool if we each sent postcards, but all the postcards somehow where puzzle pieces that fit together?
-And so they know which postcards are jig-saw puzzles, they'd have a symbol in the middle of each of them, or something - like the "A" for the "arashi around asia" tour logo - but only, DIFFERENT (I'll let the artsy people tackle that, though, lol)?
-Another thought: maybe the secret message would be that there are pictures of arashi, and then in there somewhere we put in an American flag?
-Another radomn thought: let's find connections to the stuff that arashi likes that comes from America (ex: Aiba likes Michael Jordan?). lol, but that doesn't really send a message that we want them to come here, does it? Okay, sorry, just random thoughts. :)

For the message maybe we could add something about how Arashi is slowly taking over the world.. or something. Cause you know how on their debut Aiba said "We want to take the world by a storm!!" but then we are focusing for this in America.
The jig-saw now i'm not really sure how we're gonna do that. maybe we could put "Arashi Around America" like what Ryter said. Or put

and the theme:does it have to absolutly have to be only one theme?
i mean can it be small, but a bunch of different themes like "how much america loves arashi," "concert please!," "we love you," and idk..it can kind of go on and on and on..so i can see how that would cause a problem..but its worth it(?)

Something along those lines. It's simple, fits in America and Arashi well and would look awesome on a puzzle design easily enough with some red, white and blue theme to it. Not to forget that it rhymes with the lyrics of the song that way too.

As for the logo and stuff, again working that out. I was thinking like an American flag with an A instead of the stars being in the top left corner? Ah. Again though, still have to sketch out ideas and such. I'll wait until you give out the specs.
